Theme: Story time with Gardener Sarah!

Today I'm reading one of my favorite garden stories, "If You Plant a Seed" by Kadir Nelson! ...a favorite in the Thousand Oaks garden!

The story is about a rabbit and a mouse who decide to plant a garden, but they hoard all of the fruits and veggies for themselves.

They learn some important lessons though - such as what happens if you argue, fight, and destroy... or what can happen if you share both the work and the outcome!

In this difficult time, how can we be kinder to each other?

How can we work together and reap the benefits of our collective creativity?

*Plant a seed of kindness...what will it grow into?

***Did you spy all 6 of the plant parts? ;o)
